Code of Practice

Members agree to comply with the BAR Code of Practice. This covers how the company operates, how they work with customers, other than BAR members and BAR itself.

Insurance

All members must, as a condition of their membership, offer to arrange suitable insurance for moving and storage which meet strict standards for your benefit, and not that of your removal company.

Professional Training

BAR has its very own training division, which trains over 2000 people every year. All BAR companies have access to courses which help to ensure that staff are fully aware of the latest materials, techniques and procedures to make your move go smoothly.

Consumer Affairs

BAR is there to support you, the customer, should you have a problem. Whilst BAR have total confidence in their members, BAR operates a free conciliation service to sort out disputes in a friendly way. This is backed up with a low cost independent arbitration scheme to help if an agreement cannot be reached.
